Chinese AKM Belt Clips
A question was asked recently about the small metal belt clips occasionally found with the Chinese AKM non-wire cutter bayonets and scabbards. These clips were usually found as accessories along with bayonets with the imported AKM rifles. Here are 4 representative samples of the Chinese AKM belt clips. There are many different ones to be found. Differences in dimensions, assembly, materials, and finishes. The metal used is different thickness and hardness. The finishes vary from blued to thin nickel plating and hard chrome. Mike
Re: Chinese AKM Belt Clips
I have 3 of the blued clips and a chrome/nickel clip with different marks than shown. If I get time to do photographs I'll post. Would be willing to trade one or two of the blued clips for variations I don't have.

Re: Chinese AKM Belt Clips
Here is yet another version of markings found on a Chinese AKM belt clip. Thanks to Cassey J. for this picture of one in his collection. Does anyone else have pictures of other variations or marking? Mike
Re: Chinese AKM Belt Clips
Here's a phosphate finish on a Chinese bayonet clip that came with a Norinco 84S-1. It's still sealed up so I wasn't able to get a great photo.
As you can see it was packaged with the sling.

Re: Chinese AKM Belt Clips
Very nice! First grey phosphate one I have seen. Too bad it is sealed up with the sling. The slings are very common. The belt clip has nothing to do with the sling and is more difficult to find. I would be interested in buying or trading for it. Mike
