I believe this is an AK47 6X2 bayonet made by Russia for Finland.
Should really appreciate opinions about it... Good and bad...

Yes, a very nice example of the Russian 6X2 bayonet and scabbard made at the Izhevsk arsenal. It is one used to fill the first or early contract with Finland. The later contract was similar, but with some minor variations, i.e., proof marks etc.. The most obvious difference is the scabbard hanger attachments. The 1st ones had the two bar loops. the second ones had the one piece stamped metal bars. I noticed the grease, (cosmoline?), around the grip screws. Most of these Finnish bayonets were never used and are found full of the original goop. Difficult to clean, especially the fabric hanger. Mr. B.
