Re: Chinese green "short" bayonet (without wire cutter).
These "Green" bayonets and scabbards are somewhat rare and difficult to identify. Under normal lighting they appear to be the more common black ones. They require examination under bright lights or sunlight to really see the green tint. One of the things I look for are the small bump on the scabbard as all green ones seem to have this. That eliminates all the smooth scabbard black ones. The bump ones can be both black and green so you still have to look close under lights. Remember, mixed scabbards are also a possibility. I found my green one at gun show. The dealer had what looked like two different black ones. Close examination showed one was green and the other black, but someone had switched the scabbards. The dealer would not switch them back so I had to buy them both, but ended up with a nice one. M.

Like with egyptian black. Most of them are dark blue if You play with light so at the end really black is more rare. This green is green without playing with light.
