Another Mystery AK47 Bayonet for Discussion ????

This AK47 bayonet and scabbard were recently posted on another Forum. The owner stated that it was found mixed in with other AK47 bayonets, (Bulgarian and Polish?), and was nothing "special" except for the markings. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any knowledge or opinions about what it is? Inquisitive minds what to know.

The last picture "G" looks like a Romy G trunnion mark. Weird.

Interesting, nice attempt.
Laser engraving in Poland in 1960? I really missed something :))))
The scabbard is Polish, the handles are Bulgarian, the knife is probably also Bulgarian, I can't see anything else in the pictures.
Fits well in my fake collection.

I agree. This was my response on the other Forum. It was my first impression and I am sticking to it.

"A typical reworked Bulgarian bayonet, (grip panels), in a Polish scabbard. Someone has played with engraving equipment adding numbers etc., that ends up making no sense. Purely a fantasy piece. The markings are not original or rework Polish markings. The Polish markings are stamped using dies, not engraved."

Note: I do not have a separate fake collection. However, I do have a few items in my collection that I know are fake. I also have a couple that I suspect are fake, but I have no evidence to prove that they are. I also believe there may be a couple fakes that I am not even suspicious of. I also display a couple replicas as examples. Fakes, fantasy items, replicas are all part of collecting unusual items. Knowing the difference is what is interesting. Mike

Maybe we should have a separate area for fakes and suspected fakes? I know I've seen examples here and there in the individual (by country) sections, but nothing bringing them all together.
