I have added my first bayonet to my collection. If you can help me identify it, I would be very happy.

Hello, I'm Berkay, I'm a medical student and I'm new to the forum. I've been interested in knives for a long time. I've been collecting knives for a while and I've learned about steel types, profiling and many other things through research. I've even had the chance to make a few knives. A few weeks ago I bought my first bayonet and its structure and history have increased my interest even more. I couldn't find these topics in the forums in Türkiye. I've been reading and reviewing the forum for a while but I couldn't find anything, I need to learn more. Can you help me identify my bayonet?

Hi and welcome on board!

Like Corgi said, this bayonet is actually romanian, it's a late production with the large hilt pommel.

The hanger seems homemade / local made.

As others said, it's a Romanian "Type 1" 6X3 bayonet.
These used to be among the most common of the AK bayonets, but nice matching numbered ones are getting slightly scarcer over time, complete with Rubber insulator. Still fairly common, but a decent example.
If you are in Turkey, this would be the one to keep a lookout for, very rarely seen.

Welcome, and enjoy your collecting.
