Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
I've had several collectors state they would rather see it displayed with the more common leather hanger. I was going to display it with the newer fabric LBE hanger just because I already had one on hand. Here's the new black one with the latest set of new leather I have. Compare it with my latest old style bayonet. Also note the new style leather proof marks even on the wrist strap. M.

You have the hanger and strap to sell/trade? Or you have a hanger to trade for a strap?

Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
Please message me a price on 2 or 3 sets? US shipping. Easier than getting them from Poland right now. Thanks.

Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
So got my second one of these bayonets, now complete with strap. Other I am leaving unassembled.
Still haven't seen them in service in Poland, but they still say they are for the Beryl. And the bayonets coming out are still not serialled..so not issue. No conclusion to the mystery over these, but they are nicely made.

Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
These new black Polish 6H4 Type II bayonets and Type I scabbards were designed for the WZ96 5.56x45mm "Beryl" weapons system. It is a revised upgraded NATO version of the earlier WZ88 5.45x39mm "Tantal" rifle. Which was the Polish version of the Russian AK74. The military version of this bayonet is undoubtedly numbered. The un-numbered version we are seeing I believe is for the commercial/export version of the Beryl which is currently available internationally as the "Archer" rifle. M.

Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
I was recently examining these pictures from Gerhard and noticed something I had missed before. On one of the first pictures the leather hilt strap is very unusual as it has a black rivet instead of the usual sewn loop. Mike
Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
After reading through these posts, I thought perhaps these black grip bayonets were actually produced for the new generation Polish rifles, MSBS-5.56 Radon, (Modulowy System Broni Strzekeckiej 5,56mm, Radon). However, there is a new designed bayonet developed and produced for the MSBS series of weapons:

Have any photos surfaced since Mikes post last year, showing this bayonet being used, (or worn), by Polish forces, or other details of them being an issued bayonet?
Stay safe

Re: New Polish 6H4 Black
Online, I just located one photo with the caption "Bucharest, Romania - December 1, 2018: Polish Beryl 5.56 mm NATO assault rifles with holographic sights, vertical fore grips and bayonets lay on the ground with other army objects".
https://depositphotos.com/234679452/sto ... olish.html
The bayonets fitted to the Beryl rifles in the photo, are the regular brown grip 6H4 variety though.
Stay safe
