The AK47/AKM Transitional Bayonet?

Had this pic on my pc from 2014. I know one of the members has other pics, but will leave it up to him to discuss and post those.
This is supposed to be the ultra-rare transitional bayonet between the AK47 style and the AKM Type I style.

Those appear in many of the Russian AK books. They are always listed as experimental - ergo uber rare.

Yes, but these were made before AK-47 bayonet.

Croblade is correct. In the Russian AK books these are depicted as a precursor to the AK47 bayonet, not a transition between the AK47 and AKM bayonets.

These have been identified in the Russian AK Bayonet book as being from 1952 (on left) and 1955 (on right). The book shows the bayonet on right mounted on a modified AK47 Type 3. There is a thrid variation of these prototypes also pictured in the book. I have not translated the information on these yet. I have been told there is an English translation of the book out already, but I haven't seen it.

I wrote on the old forum about early bayonet prototypes but it was useless spent time since that forum dead.
First to explain the bayonets from photo the left one is from 1952 but it is bayonet made for experimental karabin Kalashnikova (tl-310, bl-200, bw-22), second one from middle of 50's you can call it conditionally transitional experimental AKM bayonet because it belongs to AK experimental model С-04-М.. from 1955

but after that in whole story arrives knife made for naval recon divers made by R.M. Todorov ir shortly Todorov knife which was proposed in 1955-1956 as service knife and accepted so the old type of blade "didn't get chance" as AKM bayonet.

On your photo you miss another "similar" bayonet


and at last the one from 1951 the first and the rarest piece the 6x1 (in russian books described as 6x1 even story for indexing is that must be accepted in service and indexing in that time was different there were no shorten 6x index which goes for cold weapon and 6x2 or originally indexed was 56-x-212because then index for cold weapon was 56-x )

Thank you for that info. Can we get at least a first name? It is easier to reply when you know what to call someone, and I would like everyone to start using at least a first name.
