Strange Polish markings
It's described as a Polish experimental scabbard, but I've never seen anything like it

Re: Strange Polish markings
I translated the article, thanks.
Are those scabbards in China? Could you ask for more info or pictures? (just asking)

Re: Strange Polish markings
The knives and scabbards of the Polish 6H4 are of Polish origin in terms of the materials used.
I believe the author of this description was referring to the black plastic scabbard.
The black scabbard is made of the same material as the brown one, but it was simply given a very thick black coating.
It is noteworthy that the intended finish is very similar to the Russian 6X4 scabbards.
I present these Polish 6H4 test bayonets here in detail.
These must have been manufactured between 1979 and 1985, as the knives have different production characteristics of the crossguard.
On the 6H4 with the black scabbard, the riveting of the crossguard is cleanly ground flat, the base of the attachment is left angular, very poorly marked with the acceptance mark, and the retaining ring is left with a sharp cast edge.
Brown Polish. 6H4: The riveting of the guard was poorly ground flat, the edges of the base were chamfered, the acceptance mark was poorly stamped, and the cast edge on the retaining ring was ground.
See the pictures for more details.
Best regards, G.

Re: Strange Polish markings
Surprisingly, these two scabbards seem to be the original items in the pictures I posted. I'm really grateful. Thank you for the high-definition pictures

Amazing bayonets, Gerhard!! Very nice! Never saw such detailed pictures before. Where did you obtain it? Must have been very few made.
