Hi,
Interesting photo of a Wieger StG 942 equipped with a KM87.

Just curious, is this a private display or a public one like a museum? Rare to see examples.

This is an exhibit at the "waffenmuseum suhl" like these other weapons.

Poor museum, not very informative. I would have expected more from a weapons museum.

My one and only, recently acquired, sealed in bag KM87.
I really feel the urge to open this bag.

Took ages to find mine. Somehow I ended up with a spare booklet for one too....with serial on it. Wonder where that bayonet is in the world now.

Interesting! The original owner did not see them as inseparable items.
Yes, the KM87 is a rare item, but somehow i saw them for sale quite often the recent years.
How many versions exist in total? There are differences regarding the hangers as well?
I need one more to fool around with at some point. One in bag is not all to satifying in that sense.

Approx 3500 made, and yes some minor variation on the early production hanger/frog.
