Sad news

Postby jjjxlr8 » Sat Mar 01, 2025 1:38 am

I just heard that Mr. B has passed. I didn't know Mike, but had one transaction with him and he was a pleasure to talk with. I really appreciate this wonderful bayonet resource he has put together. :(

Where did you hear this? That would be an incredible loss. Oh no. William Michael "Mike" Boshart was one of the most helpful members of the AK bayonet collecting community.
I am devastated to hear that. RIP sir, and condolences to all who knew him.

He was my guide on the bayonet road, and since January 27th, Mr. B has not logged on to the website, I miss him very much, and I have some of his things in my hand that I hope to keep forever

Yes, a very sad loss. I had not heard from him in a while and Googled to see that he died earlier in the month. This is the forum that I was introduced to him ten years ago. We've had some great discussions, trades and bayonet collecting adventures when RGuns got in a pile of Russian AKM bayonets years ago. He will be missed, indeed.

I shared the news over on AK Forum where Mike was also active. People are leaving nice comments:

This is terrible news, a very sad loss indeed. Mike was very friendly and helpful on the forum. My condolences to everyone that was close to him.

Rest In Peace Mike.

It's a very hard news to proceed... A great person with a great reasoning and a nice observation sense.
