AK47 East Germany

Post by Hombre »

The last one is what I believe is an East German AK47 bayonet...
Should really appreciate opinions about this one too... Good and bad...

Best,
Stefan

This appears to be an early version of an East German, DDR, AK47 6X2 bayonet and scabbard. At least the scabbard is an early one with the original small rivet retaining the tensioners. The way the fabric hanger is retained indicates the hanger has been replaced at some point. Not a rework, as it still has the small rivet that was replaced if officially reworked. Overall decent condition with the original issue number, The scabbards were not marked, so no way to know if they are matched. Mr. B.
