WTB for Projects
I am interested in buying or trading for a couple cheap junker bayonets. I would like to have a 6X3 Type 1 and a 6X4 Type II bayonet with a decent functional hilt, (cross guard, blade tang, complete pommel and catch assembly. The blades and grips can be missing or damaged. Usable scabbards would be a plus, but not required. Country of manufacture and issue are unimportant as are markings. I would like to be able to disassemble the hilts to study and illustrate the differences in the constructions and use as a display. Thanks, Mike
