The Finnish army seems to have modernized bayonet scabbards. Much more practical than fabric/leather

I think it's a kind of short scabbard rather than a condom. But what use?

Re: Algerian bayonet
I made a comparison between this model and the commercial version. You will observe that the handles are different (shapes and rivets). The blade is not fixed in the same direction, moreover it has a shape which is not identical. Finally, on the end of the scabbard of the commercial version, there ...

Re: Algerian bayonet
I have just received this bayonet, it seems to me identical to the one subject of the post. You can see the blade is the same as Ilian Bayonet (Chinese Type 85). She was brought back by French soldier who fought in Mali

EXCALIBUR bayonet
I saw, some time ago, on the internet a recent variant of INSAS, the EXCALIBUR. The plastics are now black. The same goes for the bayonet which does not seem to have changed much compared to the initial model.

Re: Strange bayonet
After comparison with a Russian scabbard, it seems the scabbards of my Maadi are longer. The bayonet that comes to acquire would be a model from Eastern Europe but engraved with Arabic style numerals (identical scabbard and bayonet)? I don't understand anything anymore, I need a compass to orient ...

Strange bayonet
Hi,
I wanted to present to you this strange Arab bayonet, perhaps Egyptian. Apart from the absence of tooth on the blade already mentioned in this forum. I observe a length of sheath with the other Egyptian models. Do you have an explanation for this shorter length?
Thanks

Re: Russian AK47 bayonet with Bulgarian number stamp?
Your scabbard is definitely on a Bulgarian model, bi-color and direction of retention for the bayonet reversed compared to the Russian model. As for the bayonet, I read, but I don't know where, that the first Bulgarian models were made in Russia but with a serial number engraved by the user country ...

Different pommel AKM
I just got this Izhevsk bayonet on which we can see that the little line at the top of the pommel, I don't know the exact term in English, is much shorter than on the other models. Have you ever seen such a difference before? According to the seller, she is from Chad.

Gray akm scabbard
This scabbard has been painted gray. The paint was applied very well. There is no trace of the brush. It looks like it was sprayed, there is no sag. Painting is permanent and not temporary. Do you have an opinion on its origin and what would be the reason for having painted it?
