Excellent example! I didn’t realize Lithuania made an AKM 6X4 Type II bayonet & scabbard. I thought they imported them from Russia. All the ones I have ever seen and owned have been made by either Tula or Izhevsk arsenals.
Just curious. Would like to see the markings and matching numbers on the bayonet and scabbard. Mike

I am sorry Mike, you are right - the bayonet itself is a Russian Izhevsk, like used by Lithuania in combination with their specific frogs. I am sorry if my description suggested this 6x4 had been produced in Lithuania, which is certainly not the case. I can upload some more detailed photo's of the 6x4 later today.

No problem. Just wanted to clarify. It’s actually about the unique belt hanger and not the bayonet and scabbard. The Russian ones would be the correct ones. Also the nice Russians with matching numbers are becoming more difficult to find.
A several of my Lithy belt hangers came without bayonets. I displayed them with Bulgarian, Yugo and E. German bayonets and scabbards until I could find nice Russian ones. Actually the black ones looked nice, especially in the black leather hanger!? Mike

Thanks for that Mike! Yes, the Lithuanian frogs look very nice. Still looking for the desert camo one...here are some more pictures of the 6x4 with camo frog that is currently for sale.
