Yeah..umm....err....
Only one step up from those lone scabbards they sometimes sell.
I'm in the process of securing my second knife (no mechanism still..unfortunately) and am really looking for a spear point NR2..as these are NR or NRS, clip point.
I wonder who thought it was a good idea to "legalize" this one by "deactivating" it?
Would you pay this for ... this?

No way. NRS or NRS-2s are available from the UK right now for about the same price. Only problem is they don't have hangers.
It is my understanding that you can actually ship an NR to the US as long as the firing mechanism is removed. Breaking the blade was stupid.

Ah yes, I see the NR2 is available for about GBP800.
Hmm....pity it's not a deact NRS2. Not a terrible price though.

The one from the UK (one already sold to the USA) is "made from parts in the factory" for civilian use.
I wouldn't call it a legit NR2. Close yes....but not an issued military one.
So instead, today traded for my second NRS knife. Yes..again no mechanism. But at least a genuine one with the filler.
Gotta find a mechanism oneday, and a NR2 or NRS2.
