Soviet ak type I white

Post by NICO56 »

I have a book on the regulation of Soviet honor guards in which a photo represents two Soviet soldiers wearing a white Ak type I bayonet on their belt. Is it a factory painting or a regiment modification?

Interesting. I'll see if I can translate anything in the writing that might give us a clue.

I have already translated the text relating to the image, but it only deals with how to organize an honor platoon

Thanks, I was afraid of that. No mention of the bayonet.
