I recently acquired this bayonet from an Air Force veteran who served in Viet Nam. This bayonet was found on a NVA officer during a bomb damage assessment mission in 1969 and kept as a souvenir. It is in as found condition and has surface corrosion and one grip panel has been field repaired. The blade has a razor edge and appears to have been hand sharpened. What is most unusual is that the bayonet is a North Korean AK47 and the scabbard is a Russian AK47. Close up pictures of this bayonet are in my posts under N. Korea.
