Experimental 6X5 Hanger

Post by MDIvie »

Folks,

I don't have the correct hanger on my experimental 6X5, the hanger without the D-ring. Looking to buy one to complete my set up.

I don't have a experimental 6X5 bayonet and scabbard, But I would also like to have one of the hangers without a "D" ring since I seem to be collecting a history of Russian snap hook hangers.

By the way Martin, why do you believe that this hanger is correct on the early experimental 6X5? I have seen pictures of it on them and also on 6X4s. Most of the experimental bayonets I've seen have had the standard hangers. Do you have a reason to associate the ring less hanger concurrent with the development of the 6X5? Could the ring less hangers been originated for the 6X4s and just been available for the testing of the 6X5? Mike
