Polish type 1 6x3 identification

Post by Dragur2791 »

This is my only polish type 1. I got it from a small town in poland one year ago.
I could need some help in identification of potential production year. Its a matching numbers piece and the bakelite on one side reminds me of the hungarian early type munkázör 6x3

Any input would be appreciated :D

Just noticed you never received a reply to this post. Very nice Polish AKM 6H3 Type I bayonet and scabbard. These were produced from 1968 to 1972 when they started producing AKM 6H4 Type II bayonets. The early ones had blued metal and Modofen plastic grips, later ones AG-4W grips and painted metal. More pictures and info on this forum under; Polish 6h3 "Type I" Handles. Mike
