Re: Iraqi Tabuk AKM Type II
I completely agree Mike, There is a lack of consistency with the Tabuk bayonets. When inspecting my own collection of Tabuks i get the same picture. They can vary a lot in individual details and placement of mould marks on the grip especially. Some of them also carry small numbering on the pommel an...

Re: Romanian Type II variations
I just added another Romy 6x4 SA exporter.. this one is numbered “1209” and for the record here is pictures.
Im still interested in knowing how many of these that walked out of storage. 20 - 30 pieces?
This one is “C” marked on top of the cross guard.

Re: border guard bayonet
For the record im sharing pics of another “border guard” bayonet. This one is numbered 7730 and is of course much like the other ones i had through my hands. - reused/reworked/repainted scabbard. - old numbering is barely visible - Blade shows sign of usage. - Has some interesting stampings on the p...

Re: Type I Flat Pommel Variation
Thanks for sharing the photos Gerhard. Yes, the stamping of these bayonets are of very inconsistent results. Hard to see what is going on. The arrow in triangle in particular. But yours had a very visible arrow. With permission of another gentleman im uploading a few pics of RS 3747 for the record. ...

Re: Type I Flat Pommel Variation
It’s interesting how the “letter-thing” keeps reoccurring on the Romy bayonets.
B,C and H is found on 6x4 model plastic scabbard.
C is found on 6x4 SA contract models on top of the cross guard (spotted on the 10xx serial).
B is seen on flat pommel 6x3 scabbards.
I wonder what they represent.

Re: Type I Flat Pommel Variation
After inspection I found a marking on the scabbard of BA 463 and 756.
Stamping of what appears to be a “B”. On 755 there is no stamping.
I dont know if this is present on the regular wide pommel Romy 6x3, but its the first time I see it.
