Re: Yugoslavian AKM 6X4 Type II bayonet & Scabbard
It is not a manipulation. Mike has already made correct statements about it, there are clearly manufacturing errors. It may be that the casting stuck to the mold during injection molding due to excessive heat or a lack of release agent. This is particularly extreme with your Jugo. I'll show one of t...

Re: DDR M.59 / Russia 6X3
Unfortunately no, then we would have more AK bayonet variants. I'll summarize everything very briefly. The Russians were very, very suspicious! They only gave Poland and Germany a license to manufacture the AK at the beginning. Bulgaria followed later. Techechlovakia had taken a special route. Hunga...

Re: Russian AKM 6X3 Type I -II Transitional Bayonets and Scabbards
Mike, Nice job Mike I want to write something about it. First of all I have to explain something for further understanding, Ischmasch was primary, i.e. the main business, Tula was secondary. I can't really get used to the term 6x3 bayonet transition. If you look closely, there is no such thing, even...

Re: Commercial bayonet
MFH bayonet That was made in a moderate quality. Handle material made of thermoplastic, not glued, only fastened with screws and covered with plastic caps. Blade 14.00cm long, roughly ground and chrome-plated. Saw incorrectly milled. The base on the Crosspeice is oversized and cannot be locked onto ...

Re: East German Honour Dagger
Well, the GDR had significantly higher-quality excellent honor gifts for high-ranking officers. Without an inscription about the reason for the award, these would also be relatively meaningless. What is offered there for 800 € is good enough for a simple soldier but also meaningless without an inscr...

Re: (10) 6H5 bayonet with russian souvenir marking
According to Russian law, no naked weapons are allowed to be exported. There is an exception in which these are deactivated - by cutting the blade - by permanently blocking the planting device. these variants were exported as "HC" collector's knife and "HB" survival knife from Is...

Re: AKM Bayonets & Scabbards
Normally all protruding parts to the outside.
It depends on how you store the bayonets.
With flat storage, leatherloops upwards so that they do not flatten and form cracks.
With the insulator rubber pocket upwards so that there is no pressure on it.

Re: Romanian AKM 6X3 Type 1 for PSL rifle
Congratulations on your Romanian MD.63 Bayonet.
It is one of the few from the early years of manufacture.
Clean Blade, without the usual striking deep grinding marks.
As I see it, with an Acceptance stamp on the Crossguard.
Look for further Acceptance stamps.

But that serial number isn't russian !?
I think the serial number is not Russian.
I only saw a similar milled number on Bulgarian bayonets.

Re: Unknown type AKM 2 scabbard
Russian Scabbard from Ishmash. Recognizable by flat rivets on the scissor flap, flat weld seam on the back of the shear bolt. The 21 is the Mold number. are the initials "J K" above the engraved number? the first letter "J" does not exist in the Russian alphabet. Best Regards Rus...

I think Mike are right.

I think there comes the Korean star in a circle.
