Re: Few different Chinese bayonets
Mr. B shows one of these in a photo above. It is an early Chinese AKM with the brass pin in the grip. What makes this one a little unusual is the Philips head screw in the pommel, most have a slotted screw. This one is numbered 0006. I suspect that the first made, very early bayonets had the Philips...

Re: Eickhorn AKM Variant
Nobody else have an idea of the price of this kind of bayonet? :( Sorry, but I rarely answer when someone asks what something is worth. Nine times out of ten the question is asked for one reason; someone wants to sell something and is afraid that they aren't going to get top dollar for their item. ...

Re: Polish AKM Non-Wirecutter
Also If you look closely you can see a small circle mark on the blade where the blades in the last pictures have a small round hole!? Why the mark or hole? Perhaps there as part of the machining for the pivot slot on a production 6H4 blade blank? Mike I cant speak specifically about the Polish AKM ...

Re: Boring
I think it's sad when forum members feel the need to dismiss, question or put down what others have to offer. Despite what some of you may think, none of you know everything (myself definitely included). Everyone has something of value to add. Personalities and egos have been the downfall of more th...

BON - bojový nůž SA58
Here's a piece I got from a friend in the Czech Republic three years ago. A literal Google translation of the writing on the blade is "Do not let us perish her future".

Re: Bayonet Training Devices
Sorry, I want them all. I don't have a lot of them but I do have a number of the Polish commemoratives.
I would put everything under its country of original. As Brian stated, it would be easier to find it in the future.

Hello Grardus - it's been a while since we have corresponded. Very interesting spec sheet for the KCB 77 M7. I've only seen a few of these bayonets in person, but one observation I made is that every one of them had a red screw in the grip, like the example Roger shows. The spec sheet clearly shows ...

Re: North Korean Transitionals
Mike has his doubts about the second one. I'm leaving town tomorrow but will be sure to post some better photos the week after next. As far as references are concerned, I can pull many bayonets from my collection that you will not find in any reference material. One shouldn't assume that since they ...

Hi Roger. Yes, I got this from Jim. He kept the one with the steel assembly.modellkm87 wrote:Is that the one Maddox had? I think I hooked him up with the seller.

Here are a couple of transitional pieces. First is a standard AK47 hilt with an AKM bowie-style blade. Second is an AKM hilt with an AK47 style blade. Not sure about the scabbard on the second one. Looks very similar to the East German but the webbing is OD, not gray. IMG_3181.jpg IMG_3182.jpg IMG_3...

No muzzle restriction. My understanding is a standard round or a blank could be used.

Re: Bulgarian AK47 Grenade Launcher Bayonet
I think these were strictly experimental/prototypes. I've seen a second one but it is slightly different. This one has a cast assembly while the other one appears to be steel.
