Re: Type I Flat Pommel Variation
Adding to this topic my two examples. They would then be a 1965 production. They appear quite unused with single piece leather hangers.

Re: Romanian Type II variations
The A letter is interesting. Also the B,C and H that is seen on scabbards of the Romanian issued. All those letters could they perhaps indicate departments of production? Different factory sites? Im just guessing. Im also wondering if there was other countries in the past that made deals with Romani...

Re: Russian 6x4 transitional
Tula star and almost missing ink proofing. Some kind of material/residue remains in the area where the ink is usually found.

Re: Russian 6x4 transitional
Added another Tula 6x4 true transitional. This example shows a few minor differences in stampings and ink proofing compared to my other one. Other than that they are pretty much identical. It came with a vinyl hanger.

In for trades are two very rare Russian 6x3 in 6x4 scabbards. Izhvesk made. These are NOS with minimal storage wear. In original state with matching numbers and no sharpening of the blades. Both complete with original strap and hangers. Odd OTK ink stamp present at top on both scabbards near the cut...

Re: Romanian Type II variations
Here is pictures of my second rom army issued 6x4. Serialized “1345” and proof marked with the pinkish paint. Its interesting how those paint marks were absent from the SA production run.
This example came from the AoA deal back in 2017. It also came complete with a hanger.

Re: Romanian Type II variations
Here is comparison pictures to my other SA contract bayonet serialized “A1021”. The “C” stamp on the cross guard is only present on “A1021”. From a few sources I have heard that the “C” only has been observed on bayonets within the A10xx range. Can any one confirm their observations in regards to th...

Re: Romanian Type II variations
I just recently added two new Romanian 6x4 bayonets.
One being an “A1170” serialized SA contract and a regular Romanian army issued.
Here is pictures of the SA contract bayonet. It came complete with the original strap and hanger.
