Finnish M62 bayonet for sale
As stated already, this website has reignited my interest in Kalashnikov bayonets, but due to the fact I am now on a sabbatical, due to health reasons, my funds for investing in the hobby are limited. Hence, to raise funds for some other potential purchases, I have reviewed my collection and decided...

Re: Romanian 6X4 bayonet unmatching with plastic scabbard
I also don't have one of these yet, but $250 for mismatched serial numbers is too rich for my blood. I remain hopeful that more of these will pop up down the road for less money. I agree with you on that, I don't mind paying for an old model that is not being produced any more, as they are only goi...

Romanian 6X4 bayonet unmatching with plastic scabbard
Gents, I may have 'bought it now' if they shipped to the UK, but they don't USA only, so if anyone is looking for one to add to their collection. The seller has two for sale on eBay at the moment, one cheaper without hanger and wrist strap and a little rougher condition. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VER...

Re: Russian 6X5 plum prototype
Thank you all for the education on this bayonet, due to my absence from collecting for a few years; and therefore no communication with other bayonet collectors for the same time frame, I was totally unaware of its existence.
The information confirmed in this post is priceless, thank you all.

Mike,
Thanks again for the feedback.
This one came into my possession via the USA, but not from a combat veteran, I bought it from Martin Ivie.

Mike,
Thanks for that feedback.
Perhaps there was more than one factory making them in North Korea, so that was the source of the colour difference?

Here is the one I have dug out from my collection, bought back in 2007. P1130606.JPG P1130607.JPG P1130608.JPG It does not have a serial number on the scabbard. P1130613.JPG Is this the correct hanger for an Iraqi Tabuk bayonet? It is the one that it came with, when I bought it. P1130615.JPG Richard

Here are some photos of my NK AKM bayonet which I bought from a veteran, who told me he had recovered it in Panama during Operation Just Cause.
It is used and abused, but as a combat veteran myself, I appreciate that look....

These are available from What A Country for $39.95 as well: https://whatacountry.com/ak-47-bayonet-training-rifle---eastern-block.aspx That is a very good price for anyone wanting to add one to their collection; the one in the pictures on the 'What a Country' ad, looks like the one I already have. ...

Re: Displaying an AK Bayonet Collection?
If, like me, you lack wall space, then an alterative solution which I 'displayed' or rather stored my collection is an IKEA drawer unit that I bought a few years back. Having just dug out my collection over the last few weeks and dusted them off, I will be putting them back into this unit. These pic...

Re: East German AK47 & AKM Bayonet Trainer
In my collection have one of these, which I bought from Germany, perhaps 15 years ago, which was brand new in its wrapper. A colleague has just sent me a link for another version for sale on eBay at the moment, which has a metal butt plate, seller based in Germany. No connection to myself, and I am ...

Re: Bulgarian AK47 Hybrid Bayonet & Scabbard
Here is my example of this beast, which I bought from a fellow collector on the old Bayonet forum back in Sept. 2007. The seller told me it was a prototype, so I paid a premium for that, as it has no acceptance stamps and you can see the 'ears' and muzzle ring are in ‘steel’. P1130582.JPG P1130583.J...

Can opener fitted on scabbard, they are spoiling their soldiers.
Back in my days, everyone in my unit carried a 'multitool' called an 'Opinel' lock knife, which did everything, including opening tin cans, a necessity most guys picked up in basic training.

Mike, Thanks again for your feedback, improving my ignorance with your knowledge is appreciated. Mike,
Thanks for the feedback, this site has reignited my interest in my collection, which has been in 'hibernation' since 2015. This hanger is on a Izhevsk 6X3 rework, I have several them in the collection.

Mike,
Perhaps you can help with this one?
It is on an arsenal refurbished Soviet 6X3, but I don't think it is a Russian hanger?
