Re: Israeli bayonet

Certainly, however, it would seem that this type of bayonet (yugo and Hungarian) were or are used by the engineer troops for demining and not for combat as evidenced by these photos. In addition a mark is made on the blade (M70). Then it is the first time that I see on sale a Hungarian bayonet marke...

Re: Israeli bayonet

According to the bayonet site. lv, the state of Israel purchased a number of these bayonets for the engineer troops. On another site, it is indicated that these bayonets were captured during the Israel-Arab war, which is plausible because the Iranian (Hezbollah) and Iraqi armies were equipped with A...

Israeli bayonet

Today I received this bayonet from Israel. I bought it on eBay from an Israeli seller who only offers IDF equipment. You can see the tzadik on the handle. Here are pictures of identical bayonets from the bayonet.lv site.

A large part of these bayonets as well as the pixel scabbard were bought from a Czech seller on eBay but who closed his account. Here are photos of the Slovak camouflage.

R NUMBERS

I have two R number bayonets. For one the number is engraved in hollow the other is in relief. Can you give me an explanation on these different marking techniques?

Re: Type 63/68

In these photos, of the looting of the barracks of the Albanian army, we can see in the photo of the man alone, that the bayonet seems pointed.

Re: Type 63/68

I found very few documents on this weapon. To tell the difference between a Chinese and an Albanian model will surely not be easy. What is certain is that my bayonet is identical to the one presented in this reference book

Type 63/68

I present to you the bayonet of a little known rifle, type 63/68. This weapon is the cross of type 56 (SKS) and type 56 (AK). It looks like an SKS but its system is taken from that of the AK. It is therefore closer to a point seen technically closer to Ak than to SKS. Its bayonet has a dimension clo...

Phosphated bayonet AKM

Today I bought this Polish phosphate bayonet on a militaria show. I have read different versions about this bayonet. Export or refurbished? Can someone tell me more. The scabbard has a single number but not the bayonet.
