If the grip or grips are solid wood it could be a custom set that have been available from various sources. Available in different types of wood, (birch, walnut, cherry, etc.) and diff...

Re: Mine VZ58´s

Got two more examples..

First is nothing special - short crosspiece // short tang and 2 x screws..

The other seems fancy - long crosspiece // short tang and wooden handle with no screws.
Near mint condition - is it some present issue or what

Re: My pair of VALMET..

Jep, Brian - there is no slot.
This knife version has really massive stainless steel blade and handle body - which makes it much heavier compared to the bayonet version.
And if bayonet has just plastic handle, this knife´s handle has rubber covering - which sticks wery well into your fist..

My pair of VALMET..

Two brothers I pictured together..
One is just bayonet - brand new in store condition, nothing special..
The other is combat knife (so-called finnish "puukko") - heavily served and it belonged to some NCO trained in Finnish NCO School 8-)

Re: My russian AKM type 2´s

Guess you haven´t seen like this - crudely painted with black // indicated for military training in soviet secondary schools.. has russian abbreviation UČ(-učebnõi) on the tip of scabbard. Hanger seems typical but is made from strange plastic-like material.. Izhevsk triangles both on the scabbard an...
