Re: Russian 6x4 transitional
Beautiful authentic Tula 6X4 transition bayonet. Everything as it should be, but unfortunately the acceptance stamps on the bayonet and scabbard are almost always not cleanly and clearly stamped. Unfortunately, the paint spot stamps in the longitudinal groove have either disappeared or have been rem...

Re: Russian Tula Made Type 2
Nice reconditioned piece from early production. Is the Tula star on the base behind the retaining ring?
The carrying device irritates me, please show me the other side of it.

Re: Egyptian AKM 6X4 Type II Bayonet W/O Sawteeth
An Egyptian commissioned production for Libya. Libya did not manufacture AK bayonets itself. The following bayonets in the Libyan Army are known to me, Romanian 6X3 (M.59), Polish 6X4 (6H4). The fact that this Egyptian MISR bayonet has a Romanian carrying device and the blade has no saw teeth should...

Re: Yugoslavian AKM 6X4 Type II B&S unusual numbers?
Exciting part! Without factory numbering and visible control mark. Unusual! I don't know them like that, they're numbered even for export, just like Mike described. The number 28 was stamped with impact numbers, I think someone numbered their bayonets themselves. This can come from faulty production...

Excellent !
I don't see a problem with the newly numbered scabbard, they are everyday objects
Thanks for introducing these bayonets.

Re: Questionable modified pommel?
I have my concerns about this DDR M.59. Modification. This type of modification is known for the Hungarian M.63 bayonet and intended for the Hungarian AMP-69, although I haven't found any real evidence of it yet. As far as I know, Hungary has not imported any bayonets from GDR productions, I only kn...

Re: Russian bayonet help…
Nice Homework, unfortunately too much of a good thing. Without these decorations on the blade, I would have gotten into rowing a lot. My verdict, the blade of this bayonet was cut off and a (Polish?) bayonet blade was welded on. Very good welding work as I can see in the pictures. Another note, Sovi...

Re: Odd scabbard
Mike, we won't really find out, we weren't there and it's always very difficult to judge from photos. I once made something about the sense or desirability of this sheath, which can be better explained. Instead of the cable tie, a metal slide or snap hook could also be provided. I'm thinking of an e...

Re: Odd scabbard
I'm 90% sure it's a replacement scabbard from a Soviet weapons repair facility. This one uses recycled components: the shearing part from Ischevesk and the clamping spring from Tula? which integrates the sheath body. There are no form numbers or the logo, but the typical Russian color dot next to th...

Re: Polish AK47 Bayonet 1957 Variations
Thanks Perkun24, WZ. 88 Austria Mannlicher bayonet, I've never had that in my hand with Polish markings. Does the M.88 have a German or Austro-Hungarian manufacturer and did you inherit the collection? Actually, we are here AK Bayonet Forum, I don't want to go into that, but it's still exciting to s...

Re: Polish AK47 Bayonet 1957 Variations
Numbers are actually stamped from left to right. Also from right to left in the 1970s? ! That this type of number is on a bayonet from 1970, I'm a little at a loss. There is also Pol. AK47 without Numbers. ....... a couple of numbers from Pol. AK 47 1970 bayonets Nummern werden eigentlich von links ...

@ perkun24,
I like your collection, good topic.
One question, do your German M.9805 bayonets have the WZ. 98/05 stamp on the handle and the French M.1886-15 denoted WZ.86/93?

Re: Polish AK47 Bayonet 1957 Variations
The one with the number 11166 should be for export to Bulgaria.
There are no markings or other references to the manufacturer to be found anywhere, absolutely anonymous.
Only the spring plates in the scabbard have Polish markings.
Please show photos of the bayonet.

Mike you were a little faster.
Beautiful 6X3 bayonets.
Markings with pencil too! Photos of the hook eyes of the sheaths, but do not fold over the elastic.

Thank you Dragur,
it confirms what Mike has already described, that different production periods were used.
The first two bayonet sheaths differ in the tapering ends of the dams.
Beautiful exemplary bayonets.

The pencil markings are okay, I speculate that it will be a follow-up inspection for sales abroad.
Die Bleistiftmarkierungen sind schon Okay, ich spekuliere das es eine Nachkontrolle für den Verkauf in das Ausland sind.
