Since not really of interest to me (collecting only from type 6x3 and up), I have a rare type 68 for sale. Condition wise, it has seen better days, but it might still make a good addition to a collection. Asking €250 + shipping.

Thanks Mike! Yes, 3 and 6 have the handwritten serial numbers. The two regular 6x4's are matching and numbered in the - I believe - correct location on scabbard and handles. The two other 6x4 with lightweight pommel aren't numbered. Pictures to follow!

Look for original production variations in the best possible condition. Re-worked examples with miss-matched and forced match numbers should be avoided as any combination is possible and usually wrong. Read all the posts here to learn of all the possibilities. I am sorry Mike, you are right - the bayonet itself is a Russian Izhevsk, like used by Lithuania in combination with their specific frogs.
